Do you ship to the United States?

We are authorized distributors to sell in Canada. However, in case you cannot find the model or the size you are looking for in Hot Chocolate Design US Store, we are happy to help.

Do you have the latest styles?

The new models and re-stock will probably arrive in other countries sooner. Unfortunately, the international freight is delayed for several reasons. But rest assured we will have them in Canada in a short period of time. If you are interested in a particular model, please contact us for more info at  cs@retro-eclectic.com

How do I pay?

We accept major credit cards through Shopify and PayPal.  You can also pay in 4 installments, on 6 weeks and 0% interest with Sezzle. 

How to get the right size?

Use HCD size charts to find the right fit for each model. There is a size chart for flats, platforms, midheels and high heels.

All products are listed in US sizes. 

Do you sell half sizes?

We do not have half sizes, but you can still use a slightly bigger shoe using a sole.

Can I return an unwanted item and get a refund?

Yes, we have a 30-day return police. You can easily request a return in our Return & Exchange portal.

To start a return, you can easily request it on our Return and Exchange Portal.

  • Enter your order number and your phone or email
  • Select the item you want to exchange
  • Select the reason for the return
  • Select your resolution choice for your refund
  • Read and accept the return and privacy policy

Once it is approved, you will receive an email with the RMA number and the address to ship the item. Once it’s received and verified, we will process the refund.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Exceptions: Discounted items and gift cards

I found factory defects in my shoes. Can I return them?

Yes, although we carefully inspect the products we send. It is possible to find defects when you try them on. Please report it to our Return and exchange Portal within 30 days of receiving the shoes and include a detailed description of the issue with a few images of the problem. We will give you instructions how to deal with the issue or item. If a credit is warranted, it will be made within 5 to 7 business days of us receiving and verifying the returned merchandise.

Of course, in this case you will get your money back and the return shipping costs are on us.

How do I wash them?

For small stains, you can clean them with a white eraser. 

When they have been used for a long time, use a small brush with soapy water to scrub all the dirt inside and outside the shoes.

Rinse them with clear water until there are no soap remains.

You can dry the inside with a blow drier and let the rest dry in a ventilated space or near the heater during winter.

Where are you located?

We ship from Montreal but we do not have a physical store. However, we bring our Popup store to many events to meet you and offer you the chance to see the shoes personally and try them on.
