International Orders

🇺🇸 Shipping Policy Update for U.S. Customers

As of October 2025, our online store is once again open to customers in the United States.

Following recent changes to U.S. import regulations that removed the duty-free “de minimis” exemption (effective August 29, 2025), all international orders shipped to the U.S. are now subject to customs duties and import taxes, regardless of the order value.

To make your shopping experience easier and transparent, we’ve implemented the following changes:

New Shipping Process

  • Duties and import taxes are now automatically calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • These fees are paid in advance — no additional payments upon delivery.

  • Orders are shipped using alternative couriers to ensure reliable and affordable service.

  • Estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout.

  • Shipping rates and tariffs depend on your order value and delivery location.

  • All duties and taxes are collected upfront to guarantee a smooth customs process.

  • Returns and exchanges are still subject to our standard return policy (please review before ordering).

Canada Post Strike 

To ensure uninterrupted service for our U.S. clients during the potential Canada Post strike, we’ve temporarily switched to an alternative shipping partners.

Please keep in mind there are a few conditions for this service:

  • Maximum weight: 2 kg

  • Maximum dimensions: L + W + H = 90 cm (with the longest side no more than 60 cm)

This typically allows us to ship up to 2 pairs of shoes per package.

If you'd like to order 3 or more pairs, kindly place a separate order so we can ship them in multiple packages.

Lost or Damaged Items In the unlikely event of missing, damaged, or lost items, we work with our shipping partners to resolve the situation. If you suspect any issues:

  1. File a claim with the carrier
  2. Contact us at cs@retro-eclectic.com
  3. We will support your claim by providing necessary information for investigation
  4. Refunds will be processed after the carrier completes their investigation. 

Address Accuracy Please ensure all shipping information is accurate during checkout. Retro Eclectic is not responsible for:

  • Additional shipping costs due to incorrect addresses
  • Return shipping fees
  • Handling charges
  • Customs fees
  • Processing fees related to address errors
